The purpose of the Book of Knowledge (BOK) is to enable you to be a creative, independent thinker and writer. Your Book of Knowledge notebook will be used for class notes as well as for other activites in which you will be asked to express your own ideas and process the information presented in class. Your Book of Knowledge will be taken for a MAJOR GRADE at the end of each six weeks. You will be notified at least a week in advance of the official due date. Most of the organizing and work to be put into the notebook will take place during class. The main outside work will be selected "X-Factor" assignments that create an awareness of how YOU are connected to the world we live in. Attached are the notebook guidelines, evaluation sheet or rubric, and the "X-Factor" requirements.
